Privacy Policy

1. Scope

Sunshine Direct LLC ("Sunshine Direct," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") is the controller of information collected through the Services. This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, ordering portals, communications, and related services operated by Sunshine Direct LLC, including without limitation WoundSupply.co and affiliated business channels (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide. Practice or business name; contact names; business email addresses; telephone numbers; shipping and billing addresses; order details; product inquiries; messages and communications; and other business-related information.

Payment Information. Payments are processed through third-party PCI-compliant payment processors. Sunshine Direct does not store full payment card numbers or complete financial account credentials. We may receive limited transaction-related information such as payment status, billing contact information, and partial transaction identifiers.

Automatically Collected Information. IP address; browser type; device identifiers; operating system; website usage activity; referral sources; cookies; analytics data; and similar tracking technologies in use on the Services.

Information from Public and Commercial Sources. Sunshine Direct may obtain business contact information from publicly available sources, commercial databases, industry directories, conferences, licensing records, marketing partners, or other lawful third-party sources for business-to-business outreach and relationship development purposes.

3. No Patient Health Information; No HIPAA Relationship

Sunshine Direct does not request, require, or knowingly collect protected health information ("PHI") or patient medical records.

The relationship between Sunshine Direct and its customers is strictly a supply and distribution relationship and is not intended to create a HIPAA business associate relationship.

BUYERS AND USERS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT PATIENT INFORMATION OR PHI THROUGH WEBSITE FORMS, EMAIL, SMS, CHAT, OR OTHER COMMUNICATION CHANNELS.

If Sunshine Direct becomes aware that PHI has been improperly submitted, it may delete or destroy such information without notice.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information to respond to inquiries and quote requests; process and fulfill orders; coordinate shipping and logistics; provide customer support; process payments and billing; improve products and Services; conduct analytics and performance measurement; send marketing and promotional communications; detect fraud or misuse; comply with legal obligations; and protect the rights, safety, and security of Sunshine Direct and others.

6. Marketing Communications and Consent

Email Communications. Sunshine Direct may send transactional, operational, and marketing-related email communications in compliance with applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM Act. Recipients may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism included in applicable communications.

SMS Communications. Sunshine Direct does not send marketing or promotional SMS/text messages to recipients without obtaining consent where required by applicable law. Where SMS consent is required, consent must be voluntarily provided through an affirmative opt-in mechanism and shall not be inferred from the purchase of products or services. Recipients may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

Business-to-Business Outreach. Sunshine Direct may contact healthcare businesses and professional contacts using information obtained from lawful public or commercial sources for legitimate business purposes. Recipients may request to opt out of future communications.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Services may use cookies, analytics tools, pixels, and similar technologies for website functionality, traffic analysis, and marketing measurement. Users may control cookie preferences through their browser settings. Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" or similar preference signals; the Site responds to such signals to the extent required by applicable law.

8. Data Retention

Sunshine Direct retains information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill business and operational purposes, comply with legal obligations (including any applicable product-traceability or recordkeeping requirements), resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain legitimate business records. Information may be securely deleted, anonymized, or destroyed when no longer needed.

Sunshine Direct implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, or destruction. However, no method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure, and Sunshine Direct cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law and residency, individuals may have rights relating to their personal information, including the right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, the right to opt out of certain data practices, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights. The Services may contain links to third-party websites or resources. Sunshine Direct is not responsible for the privacy, content, or practices of third-party services.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended solely for business and professional use and are not directed toward children under 18 years of age. Sunshine Direct does not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

13. Data Location

The Services are operated in the United States. Information may be processed, stored, or transferred within the United States or other jurisdictions where Sunshine Direct, its service providers, manufacturers, fulfillment partners, or technology vendors operate. At this time the Services are intended primarily for United States-based business users and healthcare entities, and Sunshine Direct does not specifically target individuals in the EEA or United Kingdom unless otherwise expressly stated.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Sunshine Direct may modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on the applicable Service unless otherwise required by law. The "Effective Date" above indicates when the current version became effective.
